The concept that we are all apart of something bigger is a large Christian theme. We all have a role to play in Christ's ministry is what the 1st Corinthians teach Christians. The body of Christ is made up of multiple people, all the characters in Star Wars are different and they are fighting for something bigger than themselves. They are fighting for freedom for the Galaxy against the Empire. This theme really becomes apparent in the latest Star Wars movie: The Last Jedi when Finn and Rose go to the planet Canto Bight. While there they encounter the slaves of the planet, and at the end of the movie (spoiler) in the last scene we see a little salve boy on Canto bight use the force to get a broom and we see he is holding a resistance symbol. The Force can be seen as an analogy for the Holy Spirit. The ones who wish to do good, will have the Holy Spirit with them and will find it in times of need. The last scene of The Last Jedi is very significant to the fact that it's meaning is that of not just the importance of Luke's sacrifice to save his friends in the cave but to show the legend of Luke Skywalker so that that would then spread to the rest of the Galaxy and start a movement. It was about something bigger.
